JÓNA EÐVALDS SF-200
Jóna Eðvalds was built at the Flekkefjord shipyard in Norway in 1975. The vessel previously had the names Birkeland, Björg Jónsdóttir and Krossey. In 2004 the vessel was sent to Poland for major remodelling and repairs, which also included a new main engine and bridge. In 2008 its freezing units were replaced and RSW cooling systems installed in the ship’s hold. Jóna Eðvalds carries out pelagic fishing for herring, capelin and mackerel.
